Brewster Wilderness Lodge
Fly-Fishing Lodge Yukon, Canada
Cottage Accommodation Whitehorse, Fresh Water Fishing Hall Lake
About Brewster Wilderness Lodge
The lodge is located 50 air miles from Atlin and 100 air miles from Whitehorse. It is a unique, rustic camp for those in search of a real outdoor adventure in the Canadian Wilds! The mountain region is home to bald eagles, loons, moose and many species of birds to enjoy. The remote location makes it all the worthwhile to experience its beauty and wholesome surroundings.

Hall Lake, abundant with Lake Trout, Northern Pike, and Arctic Grayling is one of many lakes in northern British Columbia that eventually flows into the Yukon River. The lake is close to ten miles long, bordered by beautiful shorelines ideal for exceptional fly-fishing opportunities. Scattered throughout the lake are approximately 16 islands, making this unique lake a safe haven for any fisherman to retreat from the often sudden change of mountain weather. As well as the extraordinary fishing opportunities of Hall Lake, the Glady's and Hall Rivers flow close by which provide anglers superb fly-fishing challenges.

Catch-and-release policy is in effect at Hall Lake. However, a fish fry will be presented during your trip, and you will be able to keep a small trout for a lunch or dinner during your stay with us. We have qualified, personable fishing guides who will show you the lake and the more successful fishing holes.

Accommodation
The newly built main lodge overlooks the shoreline of Hall Lake and is surrounded by pine trees and abundant wildlife. Guests gather here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If a day of fishing is planned, a box lunch will be prepared for you. There are optional dining areas, you can dine in the lodge or if you enjoy the outdoors as much as we do, you can eat cowboy style around a warm fire.

We offer three well maintained private guest log cabins with spectacular mountain views. The cabins are constructed with locally-picked logs by log home craftsman. All cabins have two beds with down quilts and a wood stove to keep you cozy. Hot shower amenities are available and daily housekeeping is provided.

Feel free to relax and have a drink or read a book after a long day of fishing. Sit on our outdoor patio and watch the fish jump, or be awed by the sunset dipping into the snow-capped mountains. You may even see the Northern Lights!
