The resort is located on the South Klondike Highway, 10 minutes from Carcross and 45 minutes from Whitehorse. The Southern Lakes District is one of the Yukon's most scenic areas with its pristine lakes and snow capped mountains. The resort is only a short hike from Emerald Lake, famous for it's recognizable colors.

There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the vicinity for beginners or the more adventurous type. Enjoy a quiet guided horseback tour through the beautiful wooded Watson River valley full of scenic vistas and gold rush remnants. Take a canoe and glide along on the pristine water of Spirit Lake. See dall sheep on Caribou mountain, watch fish glide along the bottom of the lake, a truly unique Yukon experience! Upon return enjoy a full lunch or dinner at the fully licensed restaurant.
The resort offers motel, cabin and cottage accommodation. The Lakeside Cabins have a priceless view of Spirit Lake and feature one double bed and a bunk bed. The cabins do not have running water or power but this adds to their rustic charm. The log-style motel rooms are newly constructed and feature two queen size beds and a full bathroom. The cottage rooms are the ideal choice for the budget minded traveler. Each room includes electric heat and two double size beds. The newly built main shower and bathhouse features six clean private bathrooms with a shower stall and sink as well as two individual powder rooms. There are also electrical outlets for personal grooming.
