Let us take you into the backcountry of northern Canada. In the Yukon Territory there are many horseback riding & hiking trails in the untouched wilderness offering scenic vistas. Wild animals like bears, moose, sheeps, wolves and eagles are sharing the country with us. We will provide you with individual attention in a small group of six people at the most. Your adventure is a hands-on experience including traditional cowboy meals like a "Son of a bitch" stew. A visit at the Takhini Hotsprings is on our schedule as well.

Day 01 Whitehorse - Ranch
After your arrival in Whitehorse we will pick you up and transfer you to our ranch, located about a 20 minute drive from Whitehorse. The ranch offers a fantastic view of the Takhini Valley and the Ibex Mountains. After we give you a thourough introduction to our horses and you familiarize yourself we start to a 2-lake-tour towards the mountains of the Miners Range. Discover wildlife, hidden lakes and tranquility unlike you have ever witnessed before. After our trip you can relax in the hotsprings with 47 degress hot water. We end our day with a delicious barbecue and overnight in cozy cabins.

Day 02 Horseback Riding
After a hearty breakfast we saddle up our horses and leave the ranch. Marvel at the rich species of flora and fauna found in the Yukon. Exposing to you the scenic views and beautiful secrets of the Yukon is our goal. The tour takes us across open areas and forests to magnificent Sunshine-Lake, the right name to choose. Here we will enjoy lunch and watch the animals around us. After an eventful day we return to our ranch and overnight in the cabin.

Day 03 Horseback Riding
Today our tour takes us to a higher region where we can overlook the Takhini Valley and see the Yukon Valley. In front of us is the "Lookout"-Mountain that comes again into our field of vision. Our trail leads us across gravel trails and forested areas to a small lake where we will rest today. We end our eventful day with a delicious dinner.

Day 04 Hiking
From the Takhini Hotsprings we start today our first hiking tour. We hike along and enjoy the scenic vistas. How can it be different - the Yukon and its many lakes invite us to rest on the shores of a small lake where we enjoy our lunch. Curious, what our chef prepared for us today...

Day 05 Hiking
From the Takhini Valley we leave today to Grey Mountain, overlooking Whitehorse. We drive with our truck to our trailhead and hike on a well maintained trails to the mountain top. Here a impressive 360 degree panorama over Whitehorse and the entire area will await us. Depending on the time of the year we can pick some berries. We will continue hiking along the ridge to another top where our field of vision even extends further. Sometimes we see black bears along the mountain side.

Day 06 Hiking
From our ranch we have been enjoying the vistas of the Ibex Mountain Range. Today we will explore the range up close. A fantastic loop trail invites us and if we are not making to much noise we may have the chance that animals are crossing our way. Back at the ranch we will end the day with a hearty dinner. For a last night you overnight in the cabin.

You may wish to extend your stay at the ranch. Optional transfer to Whitehorse.
